Professional Watercolour
Permanent Alizarin Crimson
Highly transparent with a blue undertone, Permanent Alizarin Crimson is a vivid red colour.
Please note that due to a pigment change there may be two different product formulations in circulation. Pigment PR206 is being phased out and replaced by PR179. PR179 provides a colour that technically cannot be closer to the original, but is not identical.

Our Professional Watercolour is still formulated according to our founding principles; to create unparalleled colours which offer artists the widest and most balanced choice of pigments, as it was in 1835 when William Winsor and Henry Newton introduced the first moist watercolours to the world.
Features
Our watercolours were used by the greats – as Turner - and are still the first choice of today's artists.
