How long should you leave masking fluid on for? If left on for too long what is the recommend solution to removing it?

We always recommend removing masking fluid as soon as possible and it should not be left on the piece for longer than 12 hours. The only recommendation if left on too long would be to attempt to rub the layer off carefully mm by mm so that your prevent the paper tearing.
