How should paint tubes be stored?

All tube colour should be stored in an ambient, dry atmosphere and lids should be replaced directly after use. If any paint builds up then keep cap threads clean and dry. With water colour tubes, acrylics and gouache, the same applies, but it also helps to store them in air tight containers.
