Artists' Satin Varnish

Due to the nature of these products, they cannot be shipped as overnight or 2-day air shipments and will be shipped using ground shipping.A quality UV resistant artists' satin varnish that maintains painting for longer. Sealing the microscopic pores on the oil paint film provides resistance to dirt and grease as well as balances out the surface sheen. Removable, for the purpose of re-varnishing, use a solvent such as Artists' White Spirit or Distilled Turpentine. Quick drying. Non-yellowing, it does not bloom or crack. Do not use until painting is completely dry (6-12 months). Do not use as a medium. Shake well before use.

Winsor & Newton are a

"Winsor & Newton are a very good quality brand, all their products are quality products, and this varnish is no exception. But the reason I am only giving it 4 stars, is because their link in their website to the video on how to apply the varnish was not working. I had to search the web for other videos on how to apply varnish to an oil painting and I found some for another brand, which I believe it is American. In the end, I can of made it up with the written instructions and the ones I saw in the video from the other brand to have a good sense on how I should apply the varnish. I believe I did not do a bad job, but I would have been more reassured if the video had been available."
