"Beautiful depth of colour. Very happy"
"I have used Cotman paints from my early days as an art student and still use them now, and still have the same palettes as I had back then! I know they say these are student grade, however this is Winsor and Newton we're talking about here! Ive used these paints for professional work (nothing has faded etc) and I know a few other artists who do too. I use touches of gold in some of my work, and have always used their gold gouache for this, but this time I bought the Cotman half pan in gold to try a watercolour consistency and it didnt disappoint. Sometimes metallic need 'watering' first however this picked up pigment as soon as I used it and laid down a beautiful, rich shade of gold. Really lovely to use"
