French Ultramarine Review

"I bought this as it was recommended in an online tutorial. I use it as a base for a variety of colours, especially for shadows. I find it's slightly grainy which adds a lovely texture to a painting when applied. I'll be using it more in the future."

Learning the difference from Cotman

"Learning the difference from Cotman but clearly better quality. It’ll come with time I’m sure"

"Service was top class as I would expect professional water colour matches this standard. M"

Prime Green

"Nice bright green. This colour is almost a stereotypical green. It is almost a cartoon green so will need some mixing to blend in with some moodier scenes. For a bright summer's day and green grass it is great. If green had a prime colour I his would be it."

Perfect Ocean

"This is a perfect ocean blue. You can easily make ocean waves effortlessly with this colour it mixes well and has a heavy pigment. A beautiful colour."

Rich flowing colour

"I started with the Cotman range. As my paints are getting used up, I’m replacing the warm and cool primaries and a few special others with the professional range. Payne’s Grey is a firm favourite and the professional is even better than the Cotman. Very happy I invested in a full pan."

Dark and Moody

"Lovely colour. Green is used a lot in my paintings and this saves me a lot of time with the dark greens and real definition in my paintings. Lightens up to a nice mossy green also. Almost black when not diluted."

Harry B. (5/5)

Beautiful Turquoise Green Blue

"I love this colour. It is a bright tropical ocean colour and lands itself to water scenes so easily wet into wet it is great."
